*153 XXV 302 307 *158 XXV 302 307[[ ]] *154 2V307 *155 XXV Remarks on the inscription:
Difficult to determine if the second element of this inscription is a single sign with two round components, or two separate instances of the same sign. If it were a single sign, it would be a hapax, since no comparison currently exist in either Cretan Hieroglyphic or Linear A. If they were two signs, four hypotheses can be envisaged: 1) they are two CH 047 as proposed in CHIC; 2) two CH 073; 3) two hundreds; 4) two LA *309b (circle with two appendices on its lowermost part).
Doubtful reading of the fraction that accompanies *158 in line 2. We suggest that the scribe wrote ‘20’ and then units (maybe three) immediately to the right of the latter. Then, they realised they had made a mistake and, probably for reasons of space, they decided to correct the units into fractional signs and re-write the units (‘5’) below. The fractional sequence is difficult to interpret, but most probably consists of CH *302 / LA *704, some partially erased vertical strokes and, immediately below, CH *307 / LA *702.
